4 People, Including Child Injured in Delaware, Ohio, ACDA Crash

Three people, a 64 year old man, 50 year old Esperanza Elliott, 40 year old Ortiz Fernando and a 9 year old girl, Elizabeth Elliott sustained injuries when 2 Honda CRV SUVs crashed on Interstate Route 71 in Berkshire, Delaware, Ohio. According to reports from the OSHP, the accident occurred on July 5, 2013 at approximately 11:55 am, when the 64 year old man was driving a 1997 Honda CRV SUV along with a 64 year old woman who was also driving a 2005 Honda CRV SUV. Both were headed north on Interstate Route 71. The driver of the 2005 CRV slowed and was struck by the rear of the 1997 CRV. The injured girl and the 50 year old women were occupants of the 2005 SUV, while the driver of the 1997 CRV and an occupant, the 40 year old man also sustained injuries. All were transported by Delaware County EMS to Riverside Hospital. Shamrock towed the 1997 SUV and the driver was charged.
