A 31 year old man narrowly escaped serious injuries following an accident that occurred in Claridon, Ohio, and resulted in his injuries on July 13, 2013 at approximately 12:17 pm. According to police reports, the man was driving a 1998 Oldsmobile full size car south on Taylor Wells Road when it was allegedly driven off the right side of the roadway. The car struck two light poles, a fence and continued through a field where it struck another fence and a tree. The man was transported by Chardon Township Fire/EMS to Geauga. He was later charged with operating his vehicle without reasonable control. Frank’s towed the car.
