A car crashed and resulted in injuries for a 75 year old woman of Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio, on State Route 253 in Portage, Ottawa, Ohio at approximately 2:53 pm. Reports from the ODPS are that a 2002 Saturn SL compact car was being driven by the woman, Janet Barnett, north on State Route 53. She attempted to pull out of a private drive and turn south and the 33 year old female driver of a 2002 Buick Lesaber allegedly failed to yield and was struck by the Saturn. The injured woman was transported by North Central EMS to Magruder and Ken’s towed the Buick. The younger woman was charged and Don’s towed the Saturn.
