An elderly woman was injured in a rear end crash that occurred in Zanesville, Muskingum, Ohio, and resulted in her being injured on May 16, 2013 at approximately 2:31 pm. Reports from the police are that a 2000 Ford Taurus midsize car was being driven by the woman, 82 year old Bernard L. West of Zanesville, Ohio, and stopped for traffic on Adair Avenue at Linden Avenue. A 1999 Ford F150 pickup that was being driven by a 29 year old woman was involved in an accident with a vehicle that was behind it. The Ford was behind the vehicle from the first accident and allegedly struck the car in the rear. The driver of the Ford was charged and the elderly woman was transported by Community Ambulance to Good Samaritan. B & H towed the car.
