Car Struck Embankment, Overturned, Injured 4 People in Hocking, OH

Four people sustained injuries in an accident that occurred in Starr, Hocking, Ohio on May 18, 2013 at approximately 3:21 pm. Reports from the OSHP are that the four were traveling in an Hyundai Accent compact car when the accident occurred. The reports further stated that the 29 year old male driver was headed south on State Route 278, when he allegedly failed to maintain control of the vehicle and crossed the centerline. It went off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment then overturned. He was charged with operating his vehicle without reasonable control. The occupants who also sustained injuries were Brendan S. Weilbacher 8 Y-O, Jeyvon Nmi Walton 15 Y-O and Michael D. Meginnis 15 Y-O. All were transported by Hocking County EMS to Doctor’s Hospital. Valley View towed the car.
