Miami, Ohio Crash involves Defective Vehicle; Injures Teen

16 year old Kimberly R. Young of Covington, Ohio, who was an occupant of a 2002 Oldsmobile midsize car was injured and transported by Covington Rescue EMS to Upper Valley Medical in an accident that occurred in Newberry, Miami, Ohio on Saturday April 13, 2013 at approximately 8:54 pm. Reports from the OSHP are that a 16 year old youth, Lee Marvin Smith Jr. of Piqua, Ohio, was driving the Oldsmobile west on Federal Highway 36, when he allegedly drove off the right side of the roadway because of an unknown vehicle defect. The car struck a utility pole. Dick’s Paint and Body towed the car.
