Man Killed, Woman Injured in Wood, Ohio, As Motorcycle Overturns

A 48-year-old man, Dean William Martin of Findlay, Ohio lost his life in an accident that occurred in Center, Wood, Ohio, while a 22-year-old woman was injured on April 30, 2013, at approximately 5:15 pm. Police reports are that a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle was being driven by Martin, west on Federal Highway 6, while a 2010 Kia midsize car was headed east on the same road, being driven by 22-year-old Kalena N. Kuhlne of Bowling Green, Ohio, and allegedly failed to yield the right of way when it was turning left on the ramp for Interstate Route 75 north. It was struck by the motorcycle which then overturned on its side and ejected the driver. Both vehicles rested off the north side of the roadway with the Kia on top of the motorcycle. Lifeflight transported the man’s body to St. Vincent’s Medical and Mid County 120 EMS transported the woman to Wood County Hospital. Wright’s towed both Vehicles.
