An accident occurred and resulted in injuries in Sugar Creek, Putnam, Ohio, on April 21, 2013 at approximately 6:24 pm. Reports from the ODPS are that a 27 year old woman, Heather L. Wiswasser of Delphos, Ohio was driving a 1999 Plymouth Voyager minivan west on Old State Road 12, while a 77 year old woman was driving a 2008 Mercury Saab on the same road and stopped facing north at a stop sign on County Road 17-S. the driver of the Mercury Saab allegedly pulled out in front of the minivan and struck it. The minivan then slid off the right side of the roadway and struck a phone utility box. Wiswasser, Barbara J. Neri 75 and a 1 year old child Riley E. King were taken by Kalida Squad to St. Rita`s Hospital, while the 77 year old woman was taken by Ottoville Squad to St. Rita`s after which she was charged. A second occupant of the Saab, 55 year old Michaela L. Hopson was not injured.
