A deer crash occurred on State Route 32 in Vinton, Vinton, Ohio at approximately 10:00 pm on May 5, 2013 and resulted in the 41 year old driver`s vehicle being damaged. Reports from the police are that the man was driving a 2007 Ford Explorer 4 SUV east on State Route 32, when he allegedly struck a deer that was in the roadway. The driver, Clifford Pettey, David C. Bookman, Julie M. Pettey and four children, Trevor Pettey 12, Dennis Pettey 9, Sybil Pettey 65 and Sarah Pettey 6, were all occupants of the SUV who were not injured. The vehicle was damaged and towed by Jim`s Service Center as a result.
