This walk is being organized as a fundraiser to assist St. Jude in their exemplary commitment to save children from cancer and other life threatening diseases and is scheduled to be held at Quicken Loans Arena on the 17th of November.

This fundraiser is to assist St. Jude, a pediatric research and treatment facility that has revolutionized the treatment of children suffering from several critical diseases including cancer. The Give Thanks Walk fundraisers are being held in 90 cities nationwide with the common objective of raising money for the Children’s Research Hospital. Official sources have stated that registration for the event is free, and the participants would raise money from family and friends for this great cause.
St. Jude is a facility for pediatric research and treatment that was formed five decades ago by Danny Thomas with a vision to change lives of children across the globe. St. Jude offers treatment to more than 260 children every day and nearly 8,000 children visit them every year. Most importantly, no payments are required to avail advanced treatment from St. Jude. This is possible because of fundraisers like the Give Thanks Walk. The money raised would also be utilized in funding research activities that would help thousands of children all over the world.
