Washington Township EMS was called to transport a 65-year-old man to Med Central, following a crash that occurred on Mansfield Lucas Road in Washington, Richland, Ohio. Reports from the police are that at approximately 3:25 pm on May 16, 2013, a 70-year-old man was driving a 2009 Lexus R35, north on Mansfield Lucas Road. The 65-year-old man, Stanley J. Schaum of Mansfield, Ohio, was driving a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle, west on Cook Road. The driver of the Lexus was attempting to turn left onto Cook Road, while the driver of the motorcycle was trying to turn left onto Mansfield Lucas Road. The driver of the Lexus allegedly failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by the motorcycle, which then overturned and rested. The 70-year-old driver of the Lexus was charged.
