Pickup Crossed Median, Struck Guardrail and Injured 2 in Allen, Ohio

Two men sustained injuries in an accident that occurred in Sugar Creek, Allen, Ohio on June 6, 2013 at approximately 5:42 pm. Police reports are that one of the men, aged 24, was driving a 1994 Chevy Silverado pickup west on Federal Highway 30, when the pickup allegedly drifted off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. The driver overcorrected and it overturned and crossed into the median. It struck a guardrail in the median and rested on the roadway. An occupant of the pickup, 28-year-old George J. Schneider of Lima, Ohio was also injured. Both men were transported to St. Rita’s by American Township and Monroe Township, respectively. The driver was cited for operating his vehicle without reasonable control. Delpha towed the pickup.
