Motorcycle Crash Injures 2 Elderly in Pickaway, OH

An elderly couple who were the rider and occupant of a motorcycle sustained injuries following a crash that occurred in Darby, Pickaway, Ohio, on October 5, 2013 at approximately 10:52 am. Police reports are that the driver of a motor vehicle was waiting for the northbound traffic to clear to make a left turn into a private drive. The 65 year old man of Pataskala, Ohio, was on his motorcycle and allegedly swerved to avoid striking the vehicle and struck a sign pole. Both he and the occupant, 62 year old Esther L. Ford, also of Pataskala, Ohio, were transported by Pickaway Joint EMS to Grant. The man was charged and a friend of his towed the motorcycle.
