Car Strikes Pole and Lands on Roof Injuring 2 in Stark, Ohio

Two men, aged 29 and 21, respectively, sustained injuries in an accident that occurred in Bethlehem, Stark, Ohio on May 16, 2013 at approximately 9:56 am. According to reports from the OHSP, the 29 year old man was driving a 1997 Acura midsize car south on Sherman Church Avenue, when he allegedly drove the car off the left side of the roadway. It struck an embankment and a pole before it overturned onto its roof. The driver alleged that a commercial vehicle had driven left of the center of the roadway and forced him to drive off the right side and he lost control. Bethlehem Township EMS transported the driver to Affinity, while the occupant, Johnathan D. Corbett was taken by Bolivar EMS to Aultmann Hospital. The driver was charged with operating his vehicle without reasonable control. Pratt’s towed the car.
