4 People Injured in Champaign, Ohio Three Vehicle Collision

A three vehicle collision occurred and resulted in injuries for 4 people on the Sunday afternoon of August 15, 2013 at approximately 4:13 pm. Reports from the police are that a 26 year old woman was driving a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire compact car west on State Route 29 in Goshen, Champaign, Ohio, and allegedly struck a 2003 Honda SUV that was being driven by 53 year old Curtis R. Hix. He was headed west on the same road as a third vehicle, a 2013 Ford Eclipse SUV was being driven by a 42 year old man, David R. Risko, who was attempting to turn left. The driver of the Ford, who was headed east, struck the Pontiac as it had entered the lane of travel. A third victim, Riley Borden 3, who was an occupant of the Pontiac was also injured. Mechanicsburg EMS transported two to South Vienna, while two were treated at the scene. Street’s towed the Pontiac.

Those accidents, which occurred when the time was wet, amounted to 13,826 injury crashes.
